With almost £20m ARR achieved within just a few years, they’re now entering a critical phase of growth as they scale their product offering, invest in AI capabilities, and prepare for international expansion.
The Role
We’re looking for a commercially astute and strategically minded Chief Financial Officer to lead the business through its next stage of scale. This is a unique opportunity to join a mission-driven leadership team and shape the long-term financial strategy of a disruptive healthtech venture.
You’ll be a key partner to the CEO and board, overseeing all elements of financial stewardship, while playing a pivotal role in fundraising, commercial modelling, and long-term growth planning. The business is preparing for a Series B fundraise and requires a CFO who can combine top-tier financial rigour with the agility and ambition of a startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead preparation for Series B and future funding rounds
- Build financial narratives and board materials for investors, articulating performance, opportunity, and vision.
- Design and implement a best-in-class finance function to support rapid growth and cross-functional collaboration.
- Oversee core finance operations including forecasting, financial planning & analysis, management reporting and external audits.
- Partner with product and commercial teams to drive pricing strategy, scenario modelling, and margin optimisation.
- Contribute to international expansion strategy, including tax structuring and market-entry planning.
- Own cash flow management and ensure financial compliance across regulated healthcare markets.
- Introduce robust performance metrics, KPIs, and dashboards to monitor commercial traction and patient engagement.
Essential Experience:
- Proven CFO or Finance Director experience in a HealthTech, Digital Health, MedTech, or regulated healthcare setting.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment with incomplete information and evolving priorities.
- Track record of supporting fundraises (Series A or beyond) and managing investor relationships.
Desired Experience:
- An understanding of NHS partnerships, B2B2C models, or digital therapeutics would be advantageous.
- Exposure to AI or data-driven healthcare platforms.
Salary: £130,000 - £170,000
